*a moment of silence*
Friday, March 30, 2007my climbing rose bush is dead. :*(
Just another form of procrastination....I knit when I should be studying. I knit when I should be sleeping. I knit when my to-do list runneth over. If I have a $1.49 left to my name, you better believe I will be buying some sugar n' cream cotton yarn. I'm Knitty McKnitterson, and I'm a knit-aholic. |
we've adopted!Monday, March 26, 2007Green ThumbSunday, March 25, 2007i love freecycle. a very kind woman offered a miniature climbing rose bush, and i gladly (and quickly) accepted. after meeting her upon pick-up, she even offered some clippings from her houseplants. so, it looks like next weekend i'll be taking her up on her generosity and giving planting another go. i really enjoy getting my hands in the dirt. doodle-bug enjoyed it as well, but because my hands were yucky, i was unable to take pics of the process. *I think I can. I think I can.*Thursday, March 22, 2007P for ProgressTuesday, March 20, 2007my mom's best friend's daughter (got that?) is about to have a baby any day now. looking for any opportunity to knit, i decided to break out of my comfort zone and try a wee bit more difficult pattern. so, voila! here are pics of the mason dixon knitting "heartbreakingly cute baby kimono" pattern-in-progress. boy i'm glad it's spring breakWednesday, March 14, 2007because it's spring break, i've been able to finally get some projects off the needles. this washcloth is from a book i borrowed from the library called weekend knitting (i don't know why blogger doesn't have an option to underline) by melanie falick. i'm wishing i bought this book instead of mason dixon knitting. :( anyway, i used crystal palace cotton chenille yarn. Off the needles....Tuesday, March 13, 2007new yarn!!Saturday, March 10, 2007Tuesday, March 6, 2007I'm totally cracking up here. According to this, I look most like Christie Brinkley followed by Hilary Duff. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My Heritage, you have made my day. *sigh*Saturday, March 3, 2007 |
