knitting frenzy
Monday, July 30, 2007knitty mcknitterson is baaaack! oh yeah! since school's out for summer, (you know you're singing the song in your head. don't deny it.) i've landed a temp job doing the exact same thing, at the exact same place, with the exact same people that i worked with before quitting to return to school full time. i loved where i worked, but i couldn't see myself getting anywhere without my edumacation. anyways, it's nice to be back for awhile. i basically answer approx. 30 phone calls a day, and because my bosses rock, they don't mind if i occupy my time with knitting. so here's what i've cranked out thus far.
first up is a toboggan i made using noro silver thaw. the pattern is based on the kittyville hat from stitch n' bitch.
also, it is with great pleasure for me to announce that i'm no longer a felting virgin. i bought a nice cloche hat pattern from etsy and used lamb's pride wool/mohair yarn. it took one skein each of the main color and contrasting color.
